Each room is devoted to the authors and characters that first conjured for us imaginings of the mystical desert sands, and the African continent that lay beyond. From Théodore Monod to Matisse, to Lawrence of Arabia, the period furnishings and decorations have been carefully picked out with their worlds in mind.
This is a unique retreat offering the chance to make excursions three hours into the desert, to an encampment where you can experience the height of luxury miles from civilisation, giving you time to really escape and find some peace.
