Visitors enjoy the very best of the great outdoors at Yew House, with simple pleasures alongside a fabulous array of organised activities. Guests can enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, windsurfing, paddle boarding, birdwatching, luxury spa treatments, swimming, bike riding, hiking, watersports tuition and tennis. The list is endless. The luxury spa is award-winning and boasts three gorgeous swimming pools including a bracing eco-pool naturally filtered by water lilies. There is also a ‘restful reading’ lounge, a library, a restaurant and a shop. The ground floor is home to a fabulous open plan living space. The atrium is stunning and creates a wonderful airy feel. The modern kitchen offers excellent appliances and a central island where guests can keep the chef company. The dining and lounge areas face the lake, taking advantage of the magical, dreamy views. You can all dine together with a view inside or pop out to the deck for alfresco dining and perhaps a barbecue. Comfy sofas and chairs surround the modern log burner which is a real treat on cooler evenings. There is a television and DVD player for your enjoyment. Yew House enjoys calm, neutral colour palettes which are beautifully colour accented with bright, vibrant accessories.
The master bedroom suite enjoys the sensational lake views and is located on the first floor. It has access to a decked balcony with a bistro table, a perfect spot for an early morning cup of tea or perhaps a pre-dinner glass of wine! The suite also boasts sofa seating and a very smart en-suite bathroom. There is also a double bedroom with terrace access and a bunk room, a child’s dream on the first floor. The family bathroom serves both the double and the bunk room.
The second floor is home to a wonderful double room, a pretty twin with gorgeous warm oak furniture and another family bathroom.
