You will be greeted by a complimentary welcome pack, offering a taste of Cotswolds luxury! All produce is sourced from local farms and businesses, in the pack there is sausages, bacon and eggs, juice, preserves, homemade cakes, artisan cheese, two bottles of wine and much more!
Blending the luxury of a hotel with the independence and ease of your own home, the cottage has a log fire, canopied and four poster beds and beautifully landscaped gardens with gazebos, orchards, and an Italianate garden and terrace, alongside a pool, spa and games room! An unpretentious blend of colour, warmth and comfort, the interiors ooze timeless beauty and modest luxury, with rich textures, beautiful fabrics and antique furniture throughout! In your peaceful drawing room, you will find an open fire surrounded by sofas. With a far greater attention to detail and loving finish, we often opt for eighteenth and nineteenth century furniture, including chairs, desks, bookcases, tables and dressers. The kitchen and dining area feature a set of double French doors to take you into your beautiful, private garden.
All three delightful bedrooms can be found upstairs, and feature the same deluxe furnishing, with a master-suite with an ensuite bathroom and two twin rooms. The master bedroom is south-facing, overlooking the garden and towards the Abbey, with a four-poster bed, an ottoman at the foot of the bed, and more comfortable seating, while the two twin rooms both have two comfortable single beds, as well as ornate furniture including an antique table and a 19th century chest of drawers. There are two warm and elegant bathrooms in total, and each is entirely marble-tiled, with marble-top vanity units, an invigorating power-shower, big mirror, heated towel rail stocked with fluffy white towels and bathrobes. Your private garden, enclosed by a row of yew hedges, features a vine- and rose-covered pergola terrace and garden furniture among the picturesque apple orchard, and is the perfect spot for soaking up a little sunshine and the perfectly fresh air of the Cotswolds! For the youngsters, there’s a child’s play area with a swing and seesaw, shared with the next-door cottage!
