Magpie House is a gorgeous, contemporary, first floor apartment sleeping six guests. It boasts a large decked balcony with alfresco dining with wonderful views onto Howell’s Mere Lake.  Magpie House is located on a first class development with acres of stunning greenspace and an incredible range of facilities and activities that will suit your whole family. The apartment is finished to a very high spec. With three bedrooms including a bunk room, it is a fabulous base for a family wanting to enjoy the great outdoors and have plenty of activities to participate in.

Whether you are looking to get away from it all and spend days hiking, bird-watching, visiting fabulous historic houses and beautiful gardens, learning a new sport, whether you want to relax and paddle about on the water, play tennis, enjoy bike rides, indulge yourself in a luxurious spa, swim or get fit, everything is possible when staying at this fabulous three bedroom apartment. Guests staying at Magpie House can explore the vast estate and take part in thrilling activities. Set within hundreds of acres of lush green countryside including nine beautiful lakes, two rivers, stunning picnic spots and miles of lakeside and river trails, you will enjoy quality family time. Children also have the opportunity to make lots of new friends. You might find yourselves wanting to come back year after year! There is a good range of water adventures including canoeing, kayaking and fishing are with tuition on offer. The spa offers a steam room, sauna and three gorgeous swimming pools, one indoor, out outdoor and one of which is a bracing eco-pool naturally filtered by water lilies. Guests are also welcome to use the library, a ‘restful reading’ lounge, tennis courts and the Technogym. During peak holiday seasons, children’s clubs offer a huge range of activities. Bikes and watercraft are available for hire. Not only are there numerous pretty picnic spots, families can enjoy hot chocolate and marshmallows by the fire in the woods. There is a useful on-site shop and a wonderful restaurant which also has its own pizza ovens, perfect for takeways if you do not want to cook.

Magpie House offers a ‘home from home’ feel. It is a wonderful example of contemporary waterside living, enjoying fabulous views of the beautiful and peaceful Howell’s Mere Lake.

The delightful living area is open plan in design with double doors opening onto the spacious, covered balcony. The balcony will feel very much like part of your living space. It boasts a large gas barbecue and deluxe alfresco dining furniture. You will enjoy your morning cup of coffee here watching the splendid scene in front of you and listening for birds. The living room is bright and beautiful with a lovely leafy feature wall and comfortable trendy furniture. The dazzling white high gloss kitchen is perfect for a self-catering break and matches the dining table and chairs.

The apartment boasts three gorgeous bedrooms. There is a beautifully appointed master for Mum and Dad with an immaculate en-suite shower room. Another double is equally well accessorised with pretty pictures, cushions and throws, all offering bright colour pops against the brilliant white walls.  The bunk room offers a lovely set of bunk beds where, no doubt, children will hope for midnight chatter and midnight feasts! The smart family bathroom offers a bath with a shower over it.
