You will be greeted by a complimentary welcome pack, offering a taste of Cotswolds luxury! All produce is sourced from local farms and businesses, the pack will include sausages, bacon and eggs, juice, preserves, homemade cakes, artisan cheese, a bottle of wine and much more! An unpretentious blend of colour, warmth and comfort, the interiors ooze timeless beauty and modest luxury, with rich textures, beautiful fabrics and antique furniture throughout!
In your double height drawing room, you will find a large sofa and Victorian chair before the antique carved oak mantelpiece, with a low coffee table between the two, and a pine display cabinet, teeming with china, sitting beside a writing table. Light colours, including creamy-white curtains, and soft pinks, blues and beiges throughout, create an idyllic atmosphere for settling in with a good book, or getting cosy in front of the open-fire! The kitchen and dining area sit beside the lounge area in an open plan style and feature wood units in a traditional style, with delightful patterned tiles and all the appliances you could need to whip up a treat!
The galleried master-suite can be found up the charming white-painted stairs and features the same deluxe furnishing as the rest of the cottage. Right in the centre there is a blue-and-white painted, faux bamboo king-size four-poster bed which will guarantee your comfort. The warm and elegant ensuite bathroom is entirely marble-tiled, with marble-top vanity units, an invigorating power-shower, big mirror, heated towel rail stocked with fluffy white towels and bathrobes. It enjoys a bateau shaped bath with a shower over the top and toiletries produced by Elemis.
Your private garden has a terrace complete with garden furniture and a barbecue for alfresco dining and is the perfect spot for soaking up a little sunshine and the perfectly fresh air of the Cotswolds! Surrounded by cream and white roses, lilies, ceanothus and honeysuckle, this is a wonderfully calm and natural private space for peaceful enjoyment of the outdoors.
