Alder House sleeps up to eleven guests in five exceptional bedrooms. The house is located within an exclusive, gated development in the heart of the Cotswolds. Just south of Cirencester, the development offers a fantastic range of relaxation and adventure facilities and activities for the whole family amongst stunning landscapes, nine lakes, two rivers, lakeside trails and hundreds of acres of lush green space. Alder House is finished to the very highest of standards with interior designers having a very good eye for colour schemes and finishes. Exquisite soft furnishings adorn the contemporary high class furniture and guests will want to linger in the immaculate, first class bathrooms. Most of all, from many of the rooms and in particular the open plan living room, the views are astounding and will captivate you.
The ground floor is home to three double bedrooms, all immaculate and offering calm and beautiful colour schemes. One is located at the front of the house and the other two face the rear with access to the ground floor deck and lush garden. The ground floor family bathroom is finished with designer fittings, gorgeous textured tiles and a walk-in rain shower. There is an external spiral staircase that leads you to the first floor decking.
The first floor of Alder House showcases the sumptuous master bedroom suite. It is absolutely gorgeous with stunning views, a modern roll top bath in the bedroom where you can laze with a glass of bubbles admiring the scenery, a separate shower room with a double walk-in shower and a large decked balcony. You will definitely want to enjoy a pre-dinner drink here. At the front of the house, you will find a gorgeous bedroom, ideal for children. The bunkbed has a double bed on the bottom and a single above. How much fun will three children have in this room! The room has its own en-suite bathroom and a balcony to the front. The balcony is perfect with a bistro table and swing seat. If children are given this room, they will feel very special indeed!
As well as the internal staircase, there is also an external spiral staircase leading from the first floor balcony to the second floor balcony. The second floor is home to the incredible open plan living space. With floor to ceiling glass windows and doors, it is bright and airy and boasts the most amazing panoramic views of Swillbrook Lake Nature Reserve. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed on the decked terrace using the barbecue. The stone toned glossy kitchen is outstanding with wonderful appliances including a wine fridge. The contemporary furnishings are fabulous. The dazzling white walls are perfect so that your eyes are drawn, not only to the views outside, but to the colour pops of the striking modern art and accessories. On cooler evenings guests enjoy the modern log burner.
Alder House benefits for a large, exclusive garden plot that stretches to the lake and includes a large lawn with a sunken trampoline.
