Chelsea

Chelsea is a extensive riverside and affluent area of central London that extends broadly from Sloane Square in the east to the World's End pub in the west and down to the River Thames. Two long high streets, the King's Road and the Fulham Road run parallel to the river, meaning that nowhere in the neighbourhood are you ever more than a few minutes' walk from a world-class restaurant, an exciting little boutique, or an antique shop. For visitor’s, there is window shopping on Sloane Street, walking along the Chelsea Embankment and nosing around Thomas Carlyle’s old home. Foodies should head to the Farmer’s Market which takes place on Sydney Street – expect organic, hand-picked, macrobiotic-friendly items. The district contains some of the most expensive residential property in the world.

Description

* Please note that due to Covid-19 there is currently a 30-night minimum stay in place. This decision will be regularly reviewed. Marylebone Place is a vivacious and seductive home, styled with panache and bold touches, within classical townhouse architecture, set within the very sought-after Marylebone Village.

An elegant, open plan living space offers a stylish area for the group to recline or dine together after a busy day in the capital. Impeccably executed, this home offers abundant light and high ceilings, with a tasteful mix of retro and mid-century style furnishings, and pops of vivid colour against an understated base palette.

Guests have a stylish dining area, marina blue sofa, cutting-edge contemporary accessories blending alongside original fireplace and windows. Uber-modern art and sleek walnut and upholstered chairs will appeal to the design-conscious traveller.

Suave monochrome accents, such as black blinds, paintwork and upholstery contrast with the opulent fireplace tiles and elegant patterned fabrics.

The kitchen is every inch the stylish foodie’s abode; with classic and urban touches, the glossy, sleek white units contrast with steely, grey industrial appliances. Exposed brickwork and whitewashed flooring retain the edgy, contemporary feel. The chef-worthy, state of the art appliances will appeal to aspiring cooks.

Three sumptuous bedrooms can accommodate six guests, offering a double, a king and a super king bed. These elegant and sophisticated bedrooms offer a stylish, tranquil haven for the weary guest! Again, sultry monochrome effects blend with pretty yet modern prints; crisp cotton white bed linen and black timber bed-frame contrasting with vibrant floral print wallpaper.

Sophisticated, hotel-grade shower rooms offer the same modern, slick design; the bedrooms have black roman blinds and abundant storage space.
