With beaches as close as 2km and the vast Parque Nacional del Teide a short drive north, this charming 3-bedroom villa provides the perfect introduction to this corner of the island.
Fringed by palm trees and open space, the pool area and garden are among the highlights of this beautiful property. You will have sole use of the 6m x 2m pool, which has sun loungers lined up alongside it for your relaxation. A covered dining and seating area looking out on the large lawn is a particularly nice place to sit or enjoy a meal together.
Inside, the house has been tastefully decorated, with modern furnishings complemented by some antique pieces and décor. The living room offers a comfortable environment as well as satellite TV. From here, you can walk straight through to the elegant dining area, and a kitchen with direct access to the garden offers all the appliances you should need.
The property has three double bedrooms which can be used as twins, as well as three bathrooms – two of these have a bathtub. Among other facilities are parking, a washing machine and Wi-Fi.
Palm-Mar is a pretty town, and somewhat hidden away in the south-west of the island. With Mount Guaza never far away, the tranquil town has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to keep you busy, and it’s a pleasure to walk along the promenade as the waves of the Atlantic crash in.
A little further north, you could also visit Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas, both of which have plenty going on. However, it’s the Teide National Park – the huge green lung of the island – which is the big draw for nature-lovers.
