You’ll find Villa Portet in a quiet, residential area less than a few kilometres from the small coastal town of Moraira. A popular destination for both visitors and the Spanish, this region of Costa Blanca has every ingredient for a perfect holiday.
Sleeping only four people but with two bathrooms, Villa Portet is a perfect holiday home for a family or two couples sharing. All rooms lead off the airy entrance hall your feet take you straight out to the pool terrace at the back. The covered patio is big enough to find welcome shade in the heat of the day, or you can cool off in the beautiful private pool.
The terracotta tiles around the pool are bedecked with sun loungers, tables, chairs and umbrellas – make sure you try every one during your stay! The shaped pool is ten metres in length and the broad, inviting steps will gently lower you into the refreshing water. Heaven.
Villa Portet also has a gravelled garden with trees and a barbecue - the best way to enjoy food bought at Moraira’s Friday morning market.
Back inside, the white interior is cooling and the kitchen while is small, it is well-equipped and both the lounge-diner and double bedroom feature patio doors which open straight out to the pool terrace. The second bedroom has twin beds and both bathrooms include a shower, one over the bath.
If you fancy a break from relaxing around the pool, Villa Portet is well-served with sightseeing options and activities. Moraira has two lovely white sandy beaches. Playa l’Ampolla is next to the town and El Portet is by the marina. At both beaches, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to buy ice creams and drinks and the clear blue water of the Mediterranean will wash away any remaining stresses from home.
There are lots of water sports and sailing options at Moraira marina but if walking is your preferred activity, there are dozens of trails to choose from. These will either take you along breezy coastal paths and promenades or on more challenging climbs, through Moraira’s incredibly green and picturesque countryside.
