Villa Hisa el Beni is small but perfectly formed. Sleeping up to four people, all your accommodation is on the first floor, meaning the views from the windows reach as far as the sea. In fact, windows are a real feature of staying here – there are lots of them! Not only is Villa Hisa el Beni light and airy, but thanks to the curved shape of the building, each window offers a slightly different aspect onto this beautiful corner of Costa Blanca.
Inside, the light décor and white tiled floor are fresh and cooling. The two double bedrooms share a bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen has a hatch area through to the lounge, making the living space feel connected and social. The indoor dining room is airy and enjoys views from three windows. But this villa has also been designed for outdoor living.
The private pool is simply stunning, with a detailed mosaic floor and steps leading you down into the welcome cool of the water. The garden itself is a world of its own - full of heat-seeking cacti, sculptured trees, hedges and ornaments. All you need to do is lie down on one of the sun loungers, detect the scent of orange blossom in the air perhaps and relax.
The covered poolside bar and kitchen area will be hard to resist if soaking up the sun becomes too much. About as quintessentially Mediterranean as you could possibly wish for; the terracotta pots, white-washed walls and tiled bar are all yours for a lunchtime salad or cooling drink.
Beyond this tranquil haven, it’s just a short drive down to Benissa’s coastline. Here you’ll find pretty coves, beaches and the crystal blue waters of the Mediterranean offering water sports and excursions.
