The large outside space at Villa Delia spans three levels. The lawned Mediterranean garden is found on the lower level, and from here, steps take you up to the pool terrace. This entire area has been designed for luxurious outdoor living. Your private pool is a generous size, with broad curved steps leading you down into the refreshing water for a swim.
Alongside it you have sun loungers facing the breath-taking view of the sea and mountains and the most wonderful covered pool-side kitchen area, complete with table, chairs and barbecue. The outdoor shower allows you to freshen up between sunbathing, swimming, lunch on the terrace and a siesta. The covered terrace running behind the pool area features three graceful arches through which you can admire the view from a sizeable al fresco dining area.
Villa Delia’s first-floor accommodation is simply stunning. A grand, feature staircase runs around the curved wall and looks onto the central open-plan living space. The lounge, dining area and ultra-modern kitchen all connect together to form the most fabulous room for all eight guests to gather, have fun and spend time together.
However, you will struggle to decide whether to stay inside this wonderful villa or venture out onto the upper terrace. Shaded by umbrellas and canopies, you have an additional seating area and dining table on this spacious terrace. And then there’s the view! From here you really can appreciate Benissa’s beautiful, lush countryside in the foreground. The Mediterranean Sea shimmers under the sun, and your eye goes as far as the mountains in the distance.
The luxury continues into the bedrooms. All four rooms are beautifully decorated, have double beds and feature en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom is opulent with a chandelier and fully tiled bathroom, and a second room enjoys a private balcony with incredible views.
If you ever want to leave the luxury of Villa Delia, it’s in a great location for exploring Benissa’s ancient town and picturesque countryside.
