Set five kilometres inland in a peaceful, residential corner of Benissa, you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. Yet a few minutes’ drive and you’ll find your nearest beaches, coves and town centre.
Sleeping four people, Villa Celso is adorably rotund, and all your accommodation is on one level (albeit 20+ steps up from the parking area!). The living-dining room has pleasing curved walls, exposed beams and large windows from where you can admire your incredible view. The light floods in, making this relaxing space bright and restful. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are very nicely decorated and all have a modern, fresh feel. The generous master bedroom has its own en-suite.
Step outside from the dining room and you’re on the gravelled terrace where you can choose to take morning coffee and watch the day wake up across the valleys and hills of this pretty corner of Costa Blanca. Or share locally grown olives and a glass of Cava before dinner. Bliss.
A staircase takes you down to the pool terrace, and from here you really can appreciate your location. What a view – and you’re surrounded by it! Your fabulous pool area is bedecked with tables, chairs and sun loungers. And the luxury of having a private pool, just waiting for you whenever you choose to use it is too much to resist! A refreshing morning swim, a family splash-about or a cooling dip in the heat of the afternoon.
An additional and wonderful feature at Villa Celso is tucked away in the corner of the pool terrace. The barbecue is in a covered outdoor kitchen, protecting the valiant chef from the Mediterranean sun. This and the outdoor shower completes the perfect set-up for outdoor living here at Villa Celso.
