Casa da Fontal is a charming villa set in a spacious estate comprised on a traditionally-styled main house and adjoining annexe. Located less than an hour's drive from the centre of Lisbon, the Casa da Fontal is the perfect sanctuary for those looking to relax along the Lisbon Coast within easy reach of the city. With space for up to 14 guests between six bedrooms, the villa offers the perfect mix of private retreats and sociable communal spaces.
Stepping into the villa, you are greeted by a spacious living and dining room with a double-height ceiling and large sliding doors allowing natural light to stream into the room. The fireplace is the central feature of the room and is surrounded by comfy sofas, perfect for cosying up in the evening after long days out exploring the surrounding area. Also on the ground floor, you will find a large kitchen and dining area equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast during your stay. The first of the bedrooms is on this floor and has its own private entrance, great for those seeking a bit more peace and quiet. This bedroom has plenty of built-in storage and is home to a double bed and a modern en-suite bathroom.
Moving up to the first floor, you will find two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom sharing a spacious family bathroom. The twin bedroom has an additional small bed that would suit small children, making the room perfect for siblings or friends to share. All the bedrooms are decorated with wooden furniture and colourful soft furnishings that bring brightness into each of the bedrooms. The master bedroom is also on this floor and boasts a sumptuous double bed and en-suite bathroom as well as large built-in wardrobes, so pack as much as you like!
The annexe is the perfect space for those looking for more privacy while still being able to relax and socialise with the rest of the group. A double bedroom and bathroom are located here, along with a kitchenette and living area with a single pull-out bed, allowing the annexe to sleep up to three guests comfortably.
The outside space is where Casa dal Fontal really comes into its own. A large terrace wraps around the private heated pool and is lined with sun loungers for guests to make the most of the Portuguese sunshine. The long veranda is perfect for afternoon siestas or evenings dining alfresco, enjoying the feasts prepared on the barbecue. There is also a generous lawned garden with a putting green so you can practise your golfing skills without even leaving the comfort of the villa! /n Security deposit /n €400 charged to client’s credit card before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection. /n Arrival time /n 4 pm /n Departure time /n 10 am /n End of stay cleaning included? /n Yes.
