The wonderful Estrela Salema Townhouse sits perfectly, right on the front of the awesome Praia de Salema beach. What a wonderful location for a holiday! The townhouse is really interesting as it has been incredibly well converted from two former fishermen’s houses, right in the village of Salema. Connected via an alley on ground level and a trendy glass bridge on the 1st floor, these two adjoining annexes combine the charming Algarve architecture with modern, clean-line, open-plan living. It is an ideal house for two couples or a family of 4.
 
The tiny, sleepy village of Salema is dotted with whitewashed houses with blue trims and the latticed chimney pots characteristic of the Algarve. The cobbled roads are lined with fishermen’s houses, some of which are now lovely restaurants serving delicious sardines. You can see fishermen unloading their catches each morning before mending their nets. Salema is the ideal spot to relax and soak up the sun in peace in an unspoilt corner of Portugal. It is situated between Lagos and Sagres, both great places to visit.
 
On the ground floor there is a stunning living and dining area facing the azure waters of the south coast with wonderful views, together with a bathroom and small kitchen. The Portuguese sun floods through and lights the room. Through the small corridor to the annexe, there is a luxury double bedroom and bathroom and a larger kitchen with dining area. Upstairs there is the other beautiful bedroom with wonderful sea views, bathroom and in front of the bedroom is the exquisite terrace and outside dining area. The comfy sunloungers and parasols are placed beautifully to take in the views and truly relax. The summer kitchen/barbecue area and dining space are just perfect for lovely summer al-fresco dinners. You can watch the sun go down with a glass of wine from your terrace. You do not need a pool here as the dazzling ocean is right on your doorstep! Praia de Salema is just seconds away with its sugar-fine pale golden sand and calm waters, all framed with gently sloping ochre cliffs. Stunning! /n Security deposit /n €500 charged to client’s credit card at time of final payment and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection. /n Arrival time /n 4 pm /n Departure time /n 10 am /n End of stay cleaning included? /n Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival.
