Roselyn, Toorak

Notre Dame de Paris apartment is in a fantastic location with easy walking distance to the islands and metro stations. The apartment was well represented by the web site providing a comfortable sitting room, a well appointed kitchen and a very comfortable bed with lovely white bed linen. Frederick gave us a warm welcome and the service from French Experience was excellent.

The French Experience in Australia were very professional and helpful in arranging an apartment in Lyon. The Lyon team were very friendly and helpful also and were waiting for us on our arrival. We were very happy with the apartment, it was in an old building without a lift, but the apartment itself was very modern and with wif-wif that was excellent. Our 14 year old granddaughter was most impressed. It was located in a quiet area and a short walk across the river to the old city, where there were lots of eateries. We would stay there again.

The French Experience provides a wonderful service. From the moment we found the website we were extremely impressed. We found a fantastic apartment to rent in the perfect Parisian location and the help and advice provided by the team at The French Experience was exceptional. We would highly recommended The French Experience to friends and family travelling to France and in fact we have already done so! Whilst staying in the Paris Apartment we had need to call the local contact and they were extremely kind and helpful. Kelly

I give 100% to The French Experience for its handling of our letting. Stephane and his assistant were courteous, attentive and prompt in dealing with enquiries, making the booking and in managing a re-letting for a future occasion.

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Bourse apartment in december. It was a great location and very cute. Thank you for all your assistance. I will be returning to Paris mid year and will be in contact again re accommodation for my daughter and myself. Kind regards

We spent 5 nights in the Bon Marche apartment in October and found it to be excellent. It was meticulously clean, well equipped and comfortable. The photos of the apartment were entirely reliable (and perhaps the apartment was actually better in real life). The location was just as we had imagined it to be and our greeter was a delightful lady. We chose this apartment with the helpful assistance of Zya in your Melbourne office and it certainly did meet our stated requirements. Thank you! Felicity

Fantastic location on the Canal St Martin and very handy to the Metro. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. Although it was a little chilly for the time of year the apartment was always warm. There are a couple of local supermarkets but would recommend trying the local specialty food shops (butcher, cheese shop etc). The Turkish restaurant around the corner was excellent, L'Arlequin was also good for filling meal. Overall the apartment met our expectations and provided good value. This was our fifth stay in Paris (and third using an apartment as a base).

Just to let you know we have had a wonderful time in Paris staying at Saint Paul Charme. The apartment was just like the photos, very cute & comfortable. Thank you again for your help with this trip. Louise

When visiting Paris we would only use French Experience for our accommodation needs.

Andrea

Loved the location, a little smaller than appears on photo but this did not hinder our enjoyment. It is pretty , clean and typically french. The kitchen was more than adequate.

Roger was prompt in meeting us and consistently helpful and friendly. We loved the location, the flat and the experience. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Saint Honoré Luxury Collection

Jenny

The apartment was perfect for our needs - the split level gave each couple their own space and privacy. The location was close to the centre of Paris and an easy walk to most of the major sites. As it was located in a business district there were no tourists in the area and so it was quiet during the day. The living areas were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped.

Montaigne - 2 bedroom

Sunil

Very pleased with all services provided. Will use your services again and happy to recommend it to future customers.

Lafayette 2 Bedroom

The Luxembourg apartment is well located with great excess to the gardens, metro and the stops/restaurants of St Germain and Montparnasse. It is quite small but all the appliances etc are very good. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and involves a very tight circular staircase. This would be very difficult for people with heavy luggage and would be not recommnded for older people.

Luxembourg

Rebecca

A beautiful apartment. It was as pictured, everything was clean and in working order. The beds were comfortable, the little kitchen was excellent and the bathroom was spacious and pristine. I was travelling with children and used the washing machine and dryer - all in perfect working order. I have already recommended your company and this apartment to friends and would certainly stay here again.

We found the french experience to provide very accurate information and photos of properties. Booking process was very easy, and we received instant confirmation and printable dockets to take with us. Extra bookings such as airport transfers were worry free and excellent value for money compared with booking while in the country. Everything went like clockwork. We were even able to enter the property a few hours early, even though there was someone in there the night before. Highly recommend the french experience for reliable accurate service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Pais. Camille's happy welcome was wonderful. The apartment had so many restaurants to choose from in the area and the metro was just down the street. Very convenient!! The apartment was very quiet. Everything we'd hoped for. thank you.

Cavalotti

Margaret Ann

After trawling the internet for suitable accommodation, I finally chose this one bedroom apartment as it looked clean, bright and spacious. Travelling alone, I was also very conscious of the level of security of the apartment as I wanted to enjoy my space and not be afraid to be alone. I could not have picked a better property. Elevated and with two security doors to go through before you get to your front door, the apartment was clean and was exactly as the photos portrayed in the advertisement. (There is also a microwave oven in the kitchen). The block is quiet, and the location is brilliant - with a supermarket three minutes walk away, and the Metro two minutes away. I also utilised the shuttle service from and to the airport that French Experience offer - it was economical and easy to organise. All in all, a very good french experience.

Great location made it easy to get around Paris just between two stations. Markets nearby. Directions to arrive easily were good. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

La Fayette appartment was a great introduction to Paris and gives a good sense of the Paris lifestyle. it is excellently situated, being close to the metro and has cafes, patiseries and supermarkets conveniently nearby. Everyone that we met, the cafe owners, people at the patisery and their customers were friendly and helpful. The appartment ws comfortable and was a good base from which to explore Paris and surrounds. Wifi worked well to keep you in touch with those back home.

Stephane was most helpful in arranging our accommodation ... Which was convenient, clean and comfortable...I would recommend the Melbourne office to organise an appropriate apartment in Paris.

Dean

We are from Australia and we stayed in the apartment during May and could not fault it. The location was perfect being close to the subway, shopping and the river with a great shop right next door selling coffee, lunch, salads and great evening meals you can heat in a microwave, very convenient! It is only a short walk to the major shopping area of Paris where there is also a supermarket to stock the apartment. The apartment was very clean and tidy and the price was fair given that time of year in Paris. I would recommend this apartment to anybody. Regards, Dean.

Thank you so much - a smooth stress free experience from initial enquiry to our eventual deprture.from our lovely apartment. The accommodation was beyond our expectation and staff throughout our experience were so helpful. Particular mention for our driver from airport to Paris. So very helpful and went out of his wy to assist. Would highly recommend The French Experience and would certainly use again. Merci

I would like to make special mention of Stephane who responded most promptly and effectively to all our queries. Our stay at Temple Haudriettes certainly matched our expectations and I would recommend French Experience to anyone wanting a memorable stay in this beautiful city.

Temple Haudriettes

Pauline

We found the staff of French Experience both in Australia and Paris most helpful and efficient . The apartment was exactly as represented on the website and so very easy to live in. We plan to do it again soon and look forward to our next stay.

Saint Germain Lemoine

Marion

My sister and I stayed at Bourg Tibourg. It was a fantastic experience .The location ideal and easy to reach from CDG on the train. We were particularly impressed with the ease of dealing with your company and the apartment was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a Paris experience in a traditional building and we got it. The size was ideal. We loved the fluffy white towels, good plumbing, few bits and provisions in the pantry, the travel tips by previous guests....just everything. Took loads of photos sitting on the little balcony. A couple of suggestions- the entry directions were very clear but a little note about the lock on the apartment door and how to deal with it would have helped. Also the washing machine could be supplied with a couple of the pods of detergent that needs to be used as we were reluctant to buy a whole box. When we only needed to use it once. I have been recommending the apartment and your service to friends and family. It was excellent  and we'd love to use it again and the same apartment. :-)

Bourg Tibourg - 1 bedroom

Peter

The apartment that we rented through The French Experience was excellent. Having visited Paris previously and stayed in the Marais district, this apartment certainly met our expectations and was both clean, very comfortable and close to the metro. The area was very quiet and we felt very safe. The local agent was excellent and very helpful. We had a great stay. Also we booked a car through The French Experience to take us to the airport, which was on time, had an excellent driver, and was hassle free and got us to the airport in plenty of time. A good end to what was a great month in France.

The apartment was very well equipped & spacious.

We were thrilled with our month-long stay at the Petit Pompidou apartment. Despite being a typically small apartment, we never felt cramped. The location is excellent, amenities are terrific and having a washing machine is a big plus. Pictures on the site are exactly what you get. We will stay again! Cheers

We had a great stay in Paris, the apartment was in a fantastic location. The apartment we had originally booked became unavailable whilst we were travelling in Italy and Helen from French Experience contacted us and made arrangements for another apartment. Could not have received better service. We also went on a tour and arranged an airport shuttle through the company, both prompt and well conducted.

Found The French Experience a welcome change from dealing with overseas agencies. Our entire Paris stay was a great experience with all tours, dinner at the Eiffel Tower and the Fantastic Show at the Lido timed to perfection .The appartment was a real haven away from the hustle & bustle of each exciting day in Paris We recommended The French Experience to many fellow passengers on the Scenic Ruby as we sailed from Budapest to Amsterdam Thankyou The French Experience.

My husband and I stayed at the Bourg Tibourg apartment on our first visit to Paris. We were very happy with the apartment, it was just as described - and the area is just incredible - with easy access to everything you'd need, and many of the main tourist attractions. We would definitely recommend Bourg Tibourg, especially if you want to feel like a local during your visit. Thanks to everybody involved in the organization of our stay. We hope to have the opportunity to use your services again. Regards

The team at The French Experience answered all our queries promptly and accurately prior to our trip and set our minds at ease. On arrival in Paris the greeter was punctual, very friendly, helpful and informative and even returned later that afternoon to replace a blown light bulb. The apartment was small but spotlessly clean, functional and utterly charming. The beds were blissfully comfortable. The location was central and convenient but in a quiet side street in the 3rd Arrondisement allowed us to pretend to be locals for a few nights. Highly recommended!

Les Arts & Metiers

John

The staff member we dealt with, Stefan was very informative and everything het told us about the apartment we were renting was accurate. The location of this apartment in Valmy was extremely central for everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed our stay in Paris. Thanks Stefan from French Experience

We were very happy with everything involved with The French Experience, they made our stay very enjoyable. Bourg Tibourg is in an excellent location with easy access to food shops, the metro, many Paris attractions. We enjoyed the view from the 6th floor balcony and the facilities provided in the apartment were quite adequate allowing us to do some washing and prepare our own meals. The meet & greet service was very good. The lift in the smallest I've ever been in, but we managed to get our luggage up and back down in three trips.

Bourg Tibourg

Bill

We stayed at Montorgueil 2 and the location of the apartment was wonderful. A local area in vibrant street with fabulous local produce and endless cafes and restaurants. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We felt very safe. Great range of local retail shopping with another shopping complex currently under construction in the area. The Sentier underground station was 2 min away. We found the rail system very easy to use, lots of help at the station with maps to follow, fast reliable and very economical. You can be totally independent. There is good security to the building complex and apartment. It is a very quiet place to stay amongst local families (be sure to reciprocate!). First impression of exterior was not the best but that became unimportant for the great area. The apartment was comfortable and clean. There was ample space and storage. It is on the third floor without a lift. We found that ok but not suitable for some. The heating is excellent and also hot water service. The kitchen is limited. We had a happy week here. We would return to this area without hesitation.

I would definitely stay there again if I was to travel to Paris again. Merci! you made a stay very enjoyable.

Our apartment in Paris was fabulous, we lived like Parisians! Francois was there when our shuttle bus arrived and showed us how to get in etc which was very helpful. It took a few days to get used to the key in the door! The lift is tiny but all you need, better than most Paris apartments I saw with no lift, a relief after a big day walking. Our first morning we saw a fabulous market being set up right below our balcony! We came back with an amazing spread of delicious berries, salmon and French cheese! There are quite a few supermarkets within a couple of blocks walk so we really saved money by eating in. The apartment is right between 2 Metros so it was so easy to get around the many, many sights. Also, walking around our local area we found some of the best shops in Paris. The apartment is so close to Il de la Citi and Notre Dame it was amazing. The apartment had everything you need for cooking, washing etc and although small was perfect for my daughter and I for 12 days. It also has all the Paris guides, including walking cards, so you don't need to pack them, leaving more room for shopping! The free wifi and home calls were great, esp for my 17 year old daughter, putting up her beautiful photos onto Instagram. Paris is amazing, we were flat out every day and still didn't do all the sights! We would highly recommend Bourg Tiborg and French Experience for an amazing holiday!

We recently stayed at the Vosges 2 room apartment in the Marais. It was one of the highlights of our tour though France. Perfect position, comfortable and beautiful, even better than the pictures! We had a wonderful stay at "Amelie" in Montmatre and highly recommend French Experience. Cecile (contact in Paris) was there to greet us and was very helpful and answered any questions that we had. Apartment very clean and tidy, plenty of space? The location was ideal for our needs eg: walking distance to public transport, superb restaurants, Moulin Rouge. A lot quieter than we expected, could even hear the birds in the morning. Thank you Stefan, Cecile and the French Experience Team, we had the best time and will definitely book an apartment with you on our next trip.

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say how much we enjoyed our stay in St Germain.  We had a fabulous time in Paris and the apartment was lovely.  The location couldn’t have been better.  We did lots of walking from there as it was so close to many of the places we wanted to visit.  It was also great to have so many little cafes, bakeries and the supermarket nearby.  We will certainly be recommending The French Experience to others, and particularly the apartment we stayed in.  Hopefully, it won’t be too long before we can return.

Catehrine, Point Lonsdale

Our beautifully decorated, well- appointed apartment was our home away from home for a week. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were first rate and the location just right. After a glitch with the fridge, the team arranged to have it fixed promptly and without fuss. They even left a bottle of champagne for us! For the rest of our European holiday, the children always compared our accommodation to that which we had in Paris ("It's not the same as Paris...")

Les Jeuneurs

I found the website easy to navigate and, after having stayed in the apartment, exactly as stated. I would recommend this site and will be using it again in the future.

The Melbourne company gave us personal service when we were booking an apartment in Paris. The apartment on rue Monsieur le Prince is perfectly located for our needs, quiet and comfortable and more than adequate for two people to stay for a very busy week. Two bonuses: a lovely courtyard flower garden and magnificent views out the fifth floor window to the Pompidou, the Tour St Jacques and les toits de Paris. :))

Dear Stephane We had another wonderful holiday in France. Thank you for ringing me when we arrived in Paris. We were having difficulty with our phone, so your call came at exactly the right time for us. I have not actually completed your survey - it went off by accident. The apartment at Montmorency was fair but the area was great - next time we will book your "Pompidou" Our second place,"Bord de Seine" was magnificent and situated in a beautiful part of Paris. Not having a separate bathroom was a negative but we would stay there again. Best wishes to you and your family Yours Sincerely Sally

The service was excellent.e apartment was in such a great location and the manager was helpful and friendly. The apartment was bigger than described and very comfy. We had the French experience arrange a transfer from the airport and it was so easy. The driver was at the gate and was able to take us to the apartment. We would have struggled to find it on our own! I will use the FE again.

We would use French experience again :)

The service provided by The French Experience was very satisfactory. All arrangements went according to plan and our check-in to the apartment in Paris was handled pleasantly and efficiently. The location was excellent for tourists and the apartment evoked Parisienne charm. Everything was thoughtfully provided. It was perfect and we will return to the same apartment in future.

All was perfect. Only slight complaint when we moved from Ille St.Louis apartment across to our second apartment 11th literlly 10 minutes walk away we were sent a "taxi" (huge" to transport the two us and our 2 susitcases and charged 40 euros. If we had known would have used son-in-laws Uber account of just called a normal taxi- an 8 euro trip!! Apart from that all lovely-would use you again and have recommended you often.

Carnavalet

Michael R.

Good apartment, great site, would have it again. Only 2 problems- elevator only from 1st floor upwards; and the toilet is really a partition off from the sitting room, which was a bit of a problem when we had weekend guests. When the heating failed, it was fixed under warranty in 3 days; no problem.

The apartment was very comfortable and quiet. Amine met us at the appointed time and was kind and helpful The apartment was in an excellent position and very close to transport shops and sights. We would definitely stay there again. Everything was very much as expected and Stephane was most helpful with our arrangements.

Cité de l'Alma

Russell, Brisbane

The apartment was exactly as you saw in the pitchers on the web site , the moment you walked into the apartment it felt as if you were at home. The central location of the apartment was also great as you could walk to the metro station line 1 less then a ten minute walk, this line linked up to most other metro lines so getting around Paris was quite easy or the RER trains if you wished to travel further out into the French country. The Buses also are a great way to get around and to see parts of Paris you would not see if you took the train , there are three Bus stops very close by number 22 bus takes you the Opera area , the bus number 30 takes you to Montmartre area, and bus number 82 takes you to Eiffel Tower the buses run around every 8 minutes so if you miss one it is not long to wait. Speaking of the Eiffel Tower the view is amazing from the lounge it is a lot closer then the pitcher shows on the site, and the light show at night is also amazing as the tower lights up on the hour for 5 minutes a nice place to sit back and have some cheese and a glass of Champaign. My wife and I will definitely be staying at this apartment on our next trip to Paris.

The apartment was in a fabulous location, very close to 2 different metro stations, great restaurants, shops etc. The apartment was well laid out with 2 nice bedrooms, living area. I would definitely recommend the French Experience and this apartment to everyone. It made for a fantastic, French family holiday. We loved it! Major fans of the French experience! Thank you

Johanna - Melbourne

The Rue de Rosiers apartment was an absolute delight to stay and the location was wonderfully central. The kitchen had everything we needed with beautiful crockery - the French instructions on the microwave were a little mysterious but we worked it out and the washing machine worked just fine. The little loft was great for our daughter to sleep in. It was warm and cosy with a stylish blending of the old and modern. We particularly loved the apartment because it was so centrally located in an historic part of Paris. Our street was charmingly narrow and paved with cobbles. We could easily walk to lots of iconic Parisian sights such as Notre Dame, the Pompidou Centre and the Louvre. There were lots of shops, cafes and boulangeries on our doorstep. The French Experience were really helpful when our original apartment had a leak and helped us find another apartment despite us being in the UK at that time. I would recommend them and the apartment.

Le Rosier

Anita

The location of  Rue Chavaux Lagarde is fantastic. Metro and liquor shop close, easy walking distance to many attractions and shops. The agent was not familiar with the apartment and at first we seemed to be missing a room! He was not aware that a second bedroom was accessible behind a little door! He also did not advise us of how to turn on the power. We did eventually find switches in top of cupboard. Also cleaners had not been advised that we could leave luggage in apartment until late afternoon as we had a late flight. Caused some confusion. BUT, we loved it.

Chauvaux Lagarde

Ian, Brisbane

We enjoyed (for the second time in two years) being in the middle of the hustle and bustle that is the Marais. Nicely placed to access the Metro to travel further afield or interesting enough not to stray too far from the apartment.

The Apartment Les Beaux Arts was perfect in every sense. Location, proximity to all main areas of Paris, facilities & condition of apartment were second to none. What you see in the photos is what you get + more. We loved our stay & would definitely use The French Experience team again for our next stay in Paris. Thank you team both in Australia & Paris. Our apartment was spacious and in a fantastic position overlooking the Seine River. We could walk to many of the museums and attractions and there were many fabulous local restaurants near our place. I would highly recommend using The French Experience as they arranged the apartment and airport transfer services for us from Australia rather than trying to do it all myself.

Stephan and the team in Australia are top in their field this is the second time but not the last time we will avail ourselves of their services the pick up at the TGV was spot on and our driver was excellent. Stephane knows the best places to stay and ours was close to the Metro grocery store and all the sights were a pleasant walk and a Metro home we enjoyed our 35th Wedding Anniversary while staying there and had a truly wonderful time there.

Havre-Caumartin

Simone, South Melbourne

The location of this apartment was unbeatable and it was a great size with a beautiful living room overlooking the gardens, Louvre and Eiffel Tower. A couple of minor things didn't work but our stay was super because of the brilliant view and easy walking distance to everything Paris has to offer.

Our experience with French Experience has been really positive. When making the booking we were given great advice on location and the booking process was very easy. On arriving in Paris we were met at the apartment by the local contact, who was very helpful. The apartment was exactly as pictured, and the location was perfect. We also used the French Experience to book airport transfers, the transfer was on time, clean and very professional. The whole process was so easy. I would have no hesitation in using French Experience again and would also be happy to recommend to family and friends.

I had the best time in Paris.  Art. Pastries. Walking. So pastries did not attach to my hips. The apartment was WONDERFUL. One Rue Pont Louis Philippe is the best location. Walk to everywhere. Still spent time on the Ille St Louis. And lots and lots of time in the Marais. Four big windows – unbelievable views of Notre Dame and St. Gervais church and the Ille St Louis/Seine. It was quite spacious, good light and all the mod-cons. The only thing was : the shower. It was teensy weensy itty bitty with lousy pressure. However. Nothing is perfect and the shower did not detract from my joy of returning home to “my” apartment. You can easily with no reservations suggest this apartment to any one who asks you. Well, until my next trip,  Thank you. Best, Paula

We were so pleased with the location of this wonderful Parisian apartment as it is set back from the street so no street noise. It was large for Paris and met our needs in every way. Although a little tired in its decor, we found the apartment very clean upon arrival and the wonderful greeting was second to none by your very helpful staff. Having somewhere to call "home" after busy days in Paris was comforting and easy to do. I would recommend this apartment in a heartbeat. Overalls the Experience was easy and efficient to deal with. Your staff in Paris were exceptional in their service delivery and helpfulness from answering questions about the boiler, to organising transfers to the airport . Thank you so much.

The service we received was exceptional. We were so grateful to both the man who introduced us, and Francine who went to so much trouble to let us back in the apartment after we had left a phone there :-/ Also, everyone answering our emails when we had any request was super fast and always very efficient. Thank you!

Very well located, and the interior is welcoming with generally good amenities. The overhead ceiling fans in the living space and bedroom are a great inclusion for the warmer months. It's a four floor trek up to the room, but that didn't bother me.

We stayed at Grand Louvre apartment in Rue Baillieul. The apartment is in a great location, is secure and well appointed. We had 4 adults and that is about all it would hold comfortably (adding people in the fold out couch would make it very cosy!). We booked transfers with French Experience from airport and later to the railway station, and they were very helpful and the cars were comfortable.

Pierre, the person who was there to meet us was very professional, kind, simpatico and overall just terrific. We would go back to that place in Bordeaux.
