The town is known for its incredible sea views, fascinating history and great nightlife – there are lots of different bars within walking distance where you can spend the evening drinking and listening to live music before returning to the quieter surroundings of your beautiful abode.
Head to Cala Porto in the town, an exquisite pebbled cove backed by dramatic limestone cliffs and watch locals jump off the cliffs into the turquoise waters or enjoy panoramic views of the Adriatic from one of the town’s amazing terraces. Exploring further afield, head south to the lovely coastal town of Monopoli or spend the day in the historic city of Bari, just over half an hour away.
You’re also a short drive from the incredible town of Alberobello, a UNESCO World heritage site where you can visit many of Puglia’s iconic trulli in one of Italy’s most famous places.
