Having undergone a complete renovation, Hamlet In Montalcino welcomes up to 12 guests and showcases the perfect blend of contemporary flair and original Tuscan character across its bedrooms and living spaces. Rooms are individually styled, each one with its own unique features, scattered across the borgo. Five of the six bedrooms feature king-size beds (that can be split into two singles) and they all have their own modern bath or shower room – one even has its own bath tub romantically standing in the room.
Listen to the church bells as you sit back in the hot tub or gaze up at Montalcino’s old houses as you gather by the firepit. It’s a joy to have such a spacious garden in a village setting – embrace the scent of rosemary and lavender before firing up the barbecue or enjoying pizza nights by the traditional wood-burning oven. The swimming pool is of course another highlight for warm summer days or there is ample space to simply enjoy a glass of Brunello di Montalcino in glorious surroundings.
Breakfast is served each morning and daily cleaning is included. The owners can also arrange an array of other services from a chef to prepare gourmet meals to wine-tasting, massages, yoga, bike rental and more.
Within a few minutes you can walk up to the village centre with its inviting trattorie serving delicious local fare as well as pretty squares, artisan shops, wine bars, churches and the 14th century fortress – climb to the historic walls to admire stunning views of the Val d’Orcia landscapes.
Pass iconic landscapes of cypress trees, rolling hills and vineyards as you explore this idyllic part of Italy.
