Set within a 1400-acre estate, the castle is surrounded by a lovely park with ancient trees, wide lawns, and a scenic pool that overlooks the rolling Umbrian hills. The estate is crisscrossed with marked walking paths, allowing guests to explore the peaceful countryside at their leisure. In the right season, guests can also participate in truffle hunting, guided by local experts.
Adding to its charm, the castle has been owned by descendants of Napoleon Bonaparte since 1830, giving it a unique connection to history. If you book the property for the 10-guest rate you will have access to 5 bedrooms only, 18 guest-rate will have access to 9 bedrooms only, etc. - best to enquire with us beforehand. /n Other Ts and Cs /n If meals are required then a €1000 deposit is payable to the owner on arrival in cash (or credit card subject to a 10% surcharge) towards the cost of groceries. Receipts will be provided every three days (in case it needs topping up) and any remaining money refunded at the end of your stay.
