Sit back on the lounge’s sumptuous sofas before opening the sliding windows to the heated swimming pool. Prepare feasts in state-of-the-art luxury kitchen to be served in the outdoor dining area which is atmospherically lit up in the evening. At the end of the day, retire to one of the five elegant bedrooms whilst there are three bath/shower rooms (one en suite) – look out for artisan tiling and deep ceramic tubs. Other high-end amenities include air-conditioning throughout, a Smart TV and a fitness room available for guests to use.
How wonderful to be so close to Vence and Matisse’s iconic Chapelle du Rosaire, just a short drive away. Vence is an artistic town full of charm with its medieval lanes, pretty squares, galleries, chapels and fantastic viewpoints. Head to the market on a Tuesday morning and come across many excellent restaurants for gastronomic dining.
Picture-perfect St Paul de Vence is just a little further, as is the highly regarded Fondation Maeght with its Joan Miró sculpture garden. Other historic towns and hilltop villages include Grasse, Valbonne, Biot and flower-filled Mougins. Venture down to the coast and soak up the sun as you walk along the promenade in nearby Cagnes-sur-Mer or dine out in a beachside restaurant in Juan-les-Pins.
Keen hikers have access to some superb walks close to the villa including a trail leading to a nearby waterfall and you are well located for the incredible scenery of the Baous de Vence.
