The passionate and talented owners of Château des Temps are not new to châteaux restorations and they were quick to fall in love with this 17th-century historic building which was crying out to be brought back to its former glory.
They were determined to keep its ancient charm whilst bringing in some 21st-century comforts. The result is a beautiful château with many original features, carved marble fireplaces, ancient tapestries and oak floors.
The chateau is set in six hectares of parkland with small streams, bridges, lake and a private swimming pool. It enjoys a desirable setting in lovely countryside, in the heart of the unspoilt Champagne region, the Côte de Blanc, in a quiet village with a small supermarket, a chemist and a hairdresser.
Within only a few minutes’ drive, are pretty villages, local producers and vineyards. The town of Sezanne has a wonderful market on Saturdays as well as a big supermarket and other shops. About five minutes drive away is a lovely leisure area, lake, beach and indoor pool.
The owners are so passionate about this beautiful region that they have created some interesting and varied tours with a charming English speaking local guide, which guests can book at the château.
