The traditional ambience contrasts perfectly with bold furnishings and brilliant colours bringing this magnificent home into the 21st century with a retro vibe. The beautifully styled living space with a cosy fireplace opens up to the grand kitchen-diner with ample space for feasts with your family or friends. Doors lead out to a relaxing al-fresco terrace where summer meals can be enjoyed with great food, fine local wine and perfect company.
Each of the five pretty bedrooms add to the romantic ambience with features such as a roll-top bath, chaise longue and other charming furnishings, including one of the bedrooms in a separate studio near the pool. Outside you can luxuriate in the inviting jacuzzi in an idyllic setting by the old stone fountain or relax by the private pool and its glorious partially shaded terrace. Despite its village location, it’s incredible how you can find your own place to relax across the many outdoor spaces of this beautiful home.
It’s just a short stroll to discover the picturesque village’s restaurants and shops or admire the historical buildings made out of local stone. There are also some lovely walks around the village across the hills filled with oaks, pine trees and olive groves.
Visit the weekly market at nearby Tarascon, an historic town on the banks of the River Rhône or head to Arles, only 10km away, where you can discover the fascinating Roman remains as well as the town’s famous connections to Vincent Van Gogh. Enjoy relaxing in one of the pavement cafes or head to one of the finer restaurants the town has to offer.
As you explore Les Alpilles Natural Park, you’ll be surrounded by landscapes of vineyards, olive groves and summer sunflowers as well as archetypal Provençal villages and towns such as St-Rémy and Les-Baux-de-Provence. It’s a hiker and cyclist’s paradise, there’s incredible horse-riding across the region and wonderful greens for golf lovers.
