Dating back to the 17th century, the spacious five bedroom villa has been lovingly restored for guests to enjoy. Surrounded by rolling vineyards and forests, the wine in this area is classified as one of the oldest and most prestigious appellations in the country, AOC Bandol. The villa faces south and has glorious views of the surrounding countryside.
Guests can enjoy lazing on sun-loungers by the swimming pool or sipping chilled wine in the shade of the delightful pergola. There are five bedrooms, four on the first floor with three bathrooms plus an additional en-suite double room in a separate annex facing the garden. The charming kitchen is the perfect place to prepare delightful feasts for your family and friends using the finest local produce from the nearby markets. The living room is warm and inviting and during winter months you can cosy up by the open fire, plus there is a dining room for lingering evening meals.
Children are also made to feel very welcome with toys in the playroom, children’s DVDs, table-tennis and swings outside plus the pool is gated for their safety. There is a quad bedroom upstairs, just across from the master double, making it an ideal holiday home for families.
The pretty village of Ceyreste (10km) is just a short drive, here you will find your nearest restaurant, a weekly market and charming historical lanes to explore. There is a wealth of activities in this area from horse-riding, hiking and tennis or head to the beautiful seaside town of La Ciotat (14km) where you will find watersports, bike hire, some fabulous restaurants including a Michellin starred one, and glorious sandy beaches.
