This villa has recently been refurbished to a beautiful standard and the owners have created something quite special. Light floods in from the sliding doors into the vast living space with its elegant sofas, contemporary fireplace and sleek kitchen-diner. Artwork and photography adorn the walls whilst unique sculptures and objets d’art add a touch of interesting class. Designer furnishings and fittings are featured throughout yet there is still a very relaxed ambience in this brilliant house.
Each of the four individually styled bedrooms has its own en suite bath or shower room, allowing a touch of luxury whether staying with family or friends. Head upstairs to the splendid master bedroom with its sumptuous bed, fine décor and lovely balcony where you can gaze out towards the Mediterranean. Upstairs there’s another double with a sea-view and a pretty twin bedroom, whilst on the ground floor the fourth bedroom leads straight out on to the garden terrace.
Impressive features at Les Berbers include a cinema room, smart TV and air-conditioning in some of the bedrooms. That said, much of your time will surely be outside by the wonderful swimming pool proudly positioned below the villa. Surrounded by shady pine trees and olives so typical of this region, it’s a great spot for relaxing on a sunlounger whilst the kids splash in the pool. The upper terrace is also great for shady lunches in the covered al-fresco dining area, aperitifs in the outdoor lounge and long evening barbecues as the stars come out at night.
It’s just a five-minute drive to a picturesque hilltop village famous for its ceramics and glass studios where you can explore the narrow winding lanes, admire the views towards the coast and find a characterful restaurant for some lunch. Many other idyllic villages and towns so famous in the Côte d'Azur are also nearby including Valbonne, Mougins and Grasse.
Offering the best of both worlds, it’s also just ten minutes down to the coast where you can soon be discovering the beaches around Antibes, Cannes and beyond. Golf-lovers have ample courses to choose from whilst families will appreciate all the activities on offer across this region from watersports to water parks and cycling to hiking.
