Set in stunning private grounds, the château features a good-sized swimming pool and picturesque gardens. Kid will love exploring the woodland or perhaps having a game of pool in the games room. Inside, guests will be made to feel welcome in authentic and traditional surroundings with rustic furnishings and charming style, creating a warm and characterful ambience. The classic reception and dining rooms provide room for rest and relaxation whilst ten bedrooms over the first and second floors allow ample space whether you are spending quality time with extended family or old friends.
The delightful owners, who discreetly live in their own cottage in the grounds, are wonderful hosts who can prepare hearty four-course meals on request. Of course, Bergerac is only 6km away where you can explore the historic lanes, visit the famous Maisons de Vins and dine in some excellent restaurants. Wine-lovers can visit some of the local vineyards and châteaux whilst further afield you can head to the wine-town of Saint-Émilion or the wineries around Bordeaux.
The area is famed also for its archaic historical sites and is within easy reach of all the famous 'Perigord' tourist attractions including some of the region’s most charming villages along the Dordogne river. Not to mention canoeing, walking, cycling and golf nearby. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. No stag or hen does.
