Description

With sublime panoramic views over the sea and the charming village of Grožnjan, just a 10-minute walk away, Villa Dolga is beautifully nestled among the vibrant forests of the Istrian countryside!

The distinctive stone exterior is a delightful welcome, giving the appearance of having been built many years before it indeed was, in just 2009. As a result, the interior embodies the charming fusion of a traditional, historical appearance with a much more comfortable, modern design.

Huge rooms with high wooden ceilings form the central part of the villa, with beautiful stone interior walls and highly polished wood flooring. A traditional old fireplace sits centrally in the living room, where a large leather sofa allows you to recline in front of the TV and X-Box, for a little down-time around your explorations of the island!

Through a little archway, you will find the kitchen, a spacious and traditional room with a large dining table for 8! Just beside this room is the sauna and accompanying shower, where you can sweat out your worries (or hangover!) before a refreshing plunge into your private pool!

There are two bedrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second, each with a charming, rustic design and a TV. Each has an ensuite bathroom with a large, romantic whirlpool bath!

On the first-floor terrace, there is a vast casual seating area which forms the ideal spot to gather the whole group for some quality time – especially around the table tennis for a little healthy competition!

In the garden, the pool is beautifully crafted into the terrace, and surrounded by sun loungers where you can soak up every last drop of sunshine! There is an outdoor dining table beside the pool, shaded by a parasol, ideal for alfresco meals.

Under an hour away from Učka Nature Park, a sprawling protected area with hiking routes leading to canyons, waterfalls and historic sites, you’ll find unspoilt nature a stone’s throw away.

One-Third of the Istrian territory is forested, and the rest is carpeted with vineyards, olive trees, pastures and orchards, with ancient walled cities perched atop hills in the mountainous landscape, so you need merely stroll out of your front door to find the richness of Istria. This neighbourhood is well known as a producer of foreign olive oil and Malvasia and Teran wines. /n Security deposit /n Credit card details may be requested as guarantee /n Arrival time /n 4 - 6 pm /n Departure time /n 10 am /n Energy costs included? /n Included in the rental price /n Linen & towels included? /n Included in the rental price /n Pets welcome? /n Pets frienldy /n Changeover day /n Saturday /n End of stay cleaning included? /n Included in the rental price /n Tax /n Included in the rental price /n Internet access? /n Wi-Fi connection included /n Other Ts and Cs /n Swimming pool opened from May until end of September /n Insurance /n It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property /n Minimum stay /n 7 nights /n Other Ts and Cs /n Pool open May - end September
