Terms and Conditions The French Experience Pty Ltd Terms and Conditions ABN 81 120 772 349 Please ensure you have read and understood the folowing terms and conditions before making a booking. Booking Bookings will be confirmed with the requested initial deposit. You will then be issued a booking reference. Cancellation 1) All cancellation must be received in writing. 2) Cancellation fees. a. Less than 30 days – no refund b. Between 30 and 60 days – 50% Except apartment and villa, please read 3) below c. More than 60 days – loss of deposit 3) Apartments and villa, unless specified on the booking form, there is no refund of the amounts paid. Prices We reserve the right to change prices offered on our web site and brochures at any time but it will not affect the price of any bookings that have already been confirmed, except for airfares. If between the dates you make your booking and the date of outbound travel from Australia these air fares are modified by air carriers you may be required to pay additional charges. Acceptance of this arrangement is a condition of booking, The French Experience Pty Ltd will not be responsible and exclude liability for price modification due to air carriers. Hotel Rooms There are certain types of rooms that are unique in selected destinations as stated here. This list is not necessarily exhaustive. German Twin rooms (sometimes also known as German Double rooms) will consist of two separate single beds attached side by side and are more similar to a Double room. Some hotels, especially in Scandinavia, may provide Twin rooms consisting of one Single bed and one Sofa bed, or Triple rooms with two single beds or double beds with one sofa bed. In North America Double or Twin rooms may contain one bed. Customers may request separate beds when reserving however separate beds are not guaranteed. Triple and Quad rooms usually contain two double beds. For hotels in Australia, North America and Asia the child will normally use existing bedding. Rollaway beds may be available for an additional charge. Breakfast is not included for a child under 2 years of age when staying free of charge. Services included in the rates are detailed on the booking confirmation. Personal expenses such as porter services, drinks from the mini bar, meals at restaurants, tips, dry cleaning, laundry, telephone calls are not included in the prices and shall be paid directly to hotels or suppliers by the customers. The images shown are for guidance purposes only. You may stay in a room different from the examples shown on our published content. Star Rating Star ratings are used to symbolize the overall quality, level of service, food standard and range of facilities available in any given hotel. The criteria applied within each country will vary depending on the specific requirements established by the relevant issuing body. Descriptions on the web site are a generalization of all hotels on a worldwide basis and shall be referred to for information purposes only. We cannot guarantee or warrant any kind of services or level of quality offered by hotels. Some countries do not use star ratings for official categorization of hotels. 5 stars hotel doesn't exit in France standards hotel categories, the higher grade of quality being 4 stars luxury. Product Information / Published information Product information posted on our web site and our brochures is based on information collected from hotels and suppliers worldwide. Reasonable care has been taken that the content of our web site and brochures is correct but it is subject to amendment at any time without notice. All the content published by The French Experience Pty Ltd in done in good faith but you acknowledge that we, as booking agent, cannot check the accuracy of all information provided by its suppliers. Travel Insurance We strongly recommend subscribing travel insurance for your peace of mind. Refund There will be no refund for unused content and services. Only security deposit for apartments and villas will be refunded under conditions specified on your reservation form. Amendments An amendment fee of $60 will be charged per amendment. Amendments might not be possible within the last 7 days. Note that for some car-hire bookings amendments can not be made, we will need to cancel the existing booking and create a new booking. Changes of itinerary and accommodations The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary and substitute accommodation due to circumstances. Not included in tour cost Visa, insurance, excess baggage, meals not mentioned, vaccinations, airport departure taxes, beverages, tips, shipboard gratuities, items of personal nature like: Laundry, telephone calls etc., cost of passport, personal services to hotel rooms. Limitations of liability We take reasonable care to ensure that published descriptions are correct, The French Experience Pty Ltd will not be responsible and exclude liability for any modification due to tour supplier, accommodation supplier or transportation supplier. In no circumstances shall we be liable for any consequential and indirect loss or damage. Our liability shall be limited to the amount paid to us for any booking. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations, which results directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance, which is beyond our reasonable control.
