Montmartre area is one of Paris most famous area for its village feel, the old stone housing, the Moulin Rouge and its variety show, the Sacrée-Coeur overlooking the city or place du Tertre and the all year long painting exhibition. More than anywhere else you will be surrounded by typical Parisian cafés and restaurants. Walking down to the Opera Garnier will take 15 minutes, and the metro will take you to the Champs Elysées in 15 minutes or to the Louvre Museum in 20 minutes.
