Casa Gelpi is a fantastic traditional home near the peaceful town of Tamariu on the Costa Brava. The simple home is in a true oasis of peace, away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger tourist towns found along the coast, with three bedrooms accommodating six guests, its ideal for those seeking a little tranquillity in a beautiful part of the world.
The heart of the villa is the open plan living and dining room. The large sofas and cosy armchairs are great for the whole group to relax in, enjoying a little television, or even a board game. During the day, space makes a great reading room, with plenty of light entering from the glass patio doors to the terrace. The dining table occupies the rest of the room and can comfortably seat all the guests for some beautiful conversation over dinner. Separately a fully equipped kitchen means guests can enjoy some home cooking, with plenty of space to cook up big meals for everyone. The ground floor is also home to the first of the bedrooms. This twin bedroom has two single beds and has an adjacent shower room.
On the first floor, the remaining two bedrooms can be found. A further twin bedroom with two single beds and the master bedroom. The master bedroom has its very own private terrace, and it is a fantastic spot to enjoy a morning coffee and get started on your latest holiday read. The master bedroom also has a television, so you can enjoy a lazy evening in bed and relax during your holiday. Both bedrooms share a family bathroom.
Outside, the villa’s private pool is a great addition where you can spend lazy afternoons dipping into the cool water, before laying back on a sun lounger, allowing the sun to dry you off. The pool is framed with a small grass lawn, adding some vibrant colour to space and making sunbathing more comfortable. There is also a sheltered outdoor dining area; this is the ideal spot for some al fresco dining or evening glass of wine as the sun starts to set. Although the first-floor terrace also offers a wonderful space to talk long into the evening, you are spoilt for choice! With its simple design and tranquil location, there can be no doubt that Casa Gelpi is perfect for a quiet escape to the Costa Brava.
/n Security deposit /n €150 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection. /n Arrival time /n Between 4.30 - 8 pm /n Departure time /n 10 am /n End of stay cleaning included? /n Extra €80 to be paid with the balance. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit. /n Linen & towels included? /n Sheets and towels can be hired on site for an extra cost of €8 per person per week (paid locally). /n Energy costs included? /n Yes, included in the rental price. /n Heating costs included? /n Not included in the rental price, extra €50 per week, paid locally. /n Internet access? /n Wi-Fi internet access not included in rental price, extra cost of €50 per week to be paid upon arrival. /n Minimum stay /n 3 nights /n Changeover day /n Saturday during peak season. /n Pets welcome? /n On request only and with prior agreement with the owner.
