Located in the beautiful area of La Font just outside the town of Pollensa, Villa Nerea is a traditional hideaway ‘Finca’. An abundance of vibrant colours surrounds this stone-clad country house. The garden full of lawn, flowerbeds, rustic flowerpots, shrubs and bougainvillaea hanging over the roof terrace completes the picture postcard exterior of Villa Nerea.
The rustic theme continues across the threshold as the wooden beams slope down to join robust stone walls. Wooden frame windows and stone archways allow enchanting views of the garden while comfortably joining the ground floor living.
Entry is via a covered terrace which shelters the front of the property and leads to a large characterful open plan lounge and dining area with a traditional decorative fireplace, comfortable sofa seating, satellite TV & DVD and a large wooden table and chairs.
Through a stone archway, you will find a fully equipped farmhouse style kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven, hob and microwave. Another stone archway will leave you to 2 x twin bedrooms which share a full bathroom with shower. Individual antique furnishings add an authentic atmosphere while wall-mounted displays of antique farming tools and artefacts reflect and pay due homage to an agricultural past.
Stairs, with iron railings, from the dining area, lead up to a mezzanine level where you will find more comfortable seating which acts perfectly as a reading area. With high ceilings and being open plan, this adds a feeling of a loftiness part to the house. Also, on this level, you will find the master bedroom with full ensuite bathroom and dressing area.
All bedrooms are light and well-appointed and have the air conditioning on timer control; 13.00 hrs – 15.00 hrs & 19.00 hrs – 07.00 hrs. Every comfort has been invested in each bedroom while the owners have taken great care to maintain the original features throughout.
A large swimming pool (10m x 5m) with Roman steps is surrounded by a mature garden and looks out over the picturesque countryside, neatly crisscrossed by the drystone walls and hedges which is so typical of the island. The swimming pool is surrounded by lawn, sun loungers and adjacent to the property at the rear you will find a large barbeque area and ping pong table which offers endless hours of fun for all the family. /n Security deposit /n Credit cards details may be requested as guarantee /n Arrival time /n 4 pm /n Departure time /n 10 am /n End of stay cleaning included? /n Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival.
