Villa Catalana is situated in an exclusive development in the quiet estate of Aigua Gelida, 400m from the pretty little cove of Aigua Gelida and 2km from the stunning beach and varied amenities of Tamariu. This fabulous private development has shared access to three swimming pools, three floodlit tennis courts, a playground and a wonderful manicured garden shaded by pine trees. It is fantastic to have these facilities as well as the beach being so close.
Aigua Gelida’s little cove is idyllic with inviting turquoise water. It is a perfect place to snorkel. Tamariu’s beach is a lovely sandy stretch of silvery sand and has watersports on offer; boat trips from the pontoon and a number of cozy cafes and restaurants surrounding the beach. Many residents of Barcelona have designer holiday homes here. It is a popular destination for tourists looking for an upmarket, peaceful resort with plenty of excellent restaurants, blissful, sheltered beaches and historic, charming villages and towns to explore.
Villa Catalana is on two levels with some of its own outside space. There is a delightful terrace with covered alfresco dining and a sunbathing deck on one side and another patio surrounded by mature planting and a barbecue area on the other. If you want to swim or take a dip, you only have to cross the road to the communal pools.
Villa Catalana is fairly simple in its decor. There are an open plan living and dining area with a fireplace that leads to the main terrace and to the spacious kitchen. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and two modern bathrooms, one of which is an ensuite to the master bedroom. This has a kingsize bed. The other rooms are a double with a queen-size bed, a twin bedroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed, so the villa sleeps 8 guests. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival.
