You’ll find that Villa Grippa is a great place to enjoy a relaxing holiday with family or friends – it’s in a quiet location, but only a few kilometres from Calpe, with its wide range of shops, restaurants and bars. There’s a beautiful Blue Flag sandy beach here too if you can tear yourself away from your private swimming pool of course.
With three generously sized double bedrooms, there is plenty of room to unpack and enjoy your holiday. The living room and dining room are open plans, giving a lovely flow to the villa. There’s a sofa and armchairs and flat-screen satellite TV in the living room; while the dining room has a good-sized table and chairs. Access to the downstairs bathroom is a room with a double sofa bed – the washing machine is here, so it’s not ideal for long-term guests but great if you have visitors.
The kitchen is small but perfectly formed, with all the appliances you would expect. There’s a lovely sitting room on the ground floor, complete with its bar - just the place to sit back on the comfy conservatory style seating while someone gets you a glass of the local wine.
Outside there’s a private swimming pool, set into a lovely terrace with rooftop views extending to the sea beyond. Here you can have a dip, or relax in one of the two outside seating areas – one overlooking the front of the villa, and the other under a covered area towards the back – here too is the BBQ.
In Calpe there is the lovely town beach of Playa Arenal, more than one kilometre of beautiful golden sands and clear waters, its facilities have earned it a blue flag. Calpe is most famous for its spectacular 600m high granite rock on the coastline, Penon de I Fach. A walk around the old town with its narrow streets and pavement cafes is also a must for any visitor to the area.
