This extraordinary villa in Tuscany was built by architect Massimiliano Soldani as his own residence between 1700 and 1750, and is now a perfect entertainment venue or holiday villa with exclusive amenities.
The interior is styled with careful attention to detail, including eclectic décor and antiques. Unwind in the multiple spacious living rooms, cook Tuscan feasts in one of the two well appointed kitchens (one is for catering use with a wood-burning fireplace), gather in the formal dining room, then play a game of billiards or table tennis.
The first floor boasts a chandelier-glad sitting room and eight charming bedrooms. For groups of more than 17 people, the second floor, with seven additional bedrooms split into two apartments, can comfortably accommodate up to 33.
Your private Tuscan wonderland lies just outside among centuries-old cypress trees, olive groves, vineyards. With a barbecue, private pool and tennis court, and gardens to stroll through, it’s easy to stay busy – or completely relaxed – during your stay.
The ancient villages of Bucine and Mercatale Valdarno are minutes away with a few local restaurants. Wine tasting is a must, with the villa bordering the Chianti region, and festivals extend throughout the region year ‘round. /n Security deposit /n €500 paid in cash to the owner upon arrival and refunded upon departure, subject to full inspection. /n Arrival time /n 4.00 p.m. - 8.00 p.m. /n Departure time /n 9.30 a.m. /n Heating costs included? /n Extra 4€/m3, payable locally. Flexible during all other periods. /n Minimum stay /n 7 nights in July and August. 4 nights during all other periods. /n Insurance /n Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay. /n Other Ts and Cs /n Weddings, stag/hen parties and any special events are on request only and subject to prior arrangement with the owner and additional charges. /n End of stay cleaning included? /n Extra €15 per person, payable locally. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit. /n Pool opening dates? /n The pool is open approximately May to October.
