Louvre - Les Halles

The 1st district is one of the oldest in Paris and also covers the smallest by land area. Situated on the right bank of the Seine, it is the home of the Louvre and the Tulleries Gardens which takes up most of the district, and leads up to the Concorde and the Champes Elysees. It is the least populated by residents of all the arrondissements. It is also the home to the Forum des Halles, the city’s largest shopping centre, and an easy walk to many popular areas and attractions.


Welcome to Chez Bailleul, this furnished 35 m2 apartment has a living room with an open-plan kitchen, one bedroom and one shower room. It sleeps up to 2 people; it is on the second floor and can be reached either by taking the stairs or the lift. It is located on Rue Bailleul in the first arrondissement very close to the Rue de Rivoli.

District :

The Louvre district is one of the most emblematic parts of the capital. It weaves its way along the part of Rue de Rivoli which stretches from the famous Louvre Pyramid to the Royal Palace. In this area, which basks in the banks of the River Seine, residents can still enjoy the serenity, prosperity and light-heartedness of bygone times. The area culminates with the Pont Neuf which runs perpendicularly to the Île de la Cité and the Square du Vert-Galant. This little peace haven is a favourite route for those wanting to reach the left bank.

Nearby : theCarrousel du Louvre, the Louvre Pyramid, the Louvre Museum and the Pont des Arts.

Major points : very touristy area, located at the heart of this vibrant city.

The nearest metro stations are Louvre-Rivoli and Palais-Royal on line 1 and Les Halles on line 4.

The apartment is located in a 19th century building with a cut-stone façade and a digicode system provides secure entry to the premises. This apartment has been fully renovated in a classy, refined style. It has large windows which overlook the magnificent Haussmannian façades of Rue de l’Arbre Sec. It has ceilings with exposed beams and strip-pattern parquet flooring.

Disposition :

Chez Bailleul, opens onto a corridor which divides the various living spaces in the apartment functionally. The living room is furnished with a sofa, a chest of drawers and a flat-screen television, while the dining area has a table and two chairs.

The fitted kitchen opens onto the living room ; it has storage cupboards and a worktop. It is equipped with a microwave, a hob, an extractor hood, a kettle, a toaster, a coffee maker, a fridge and all the necessary crockery.

The apartment has one bedroom with a 140 x 190 cm double bed and a wardrobe. The shower room is fitted with a shower cubicle, a washbasin with a toiletry shelf, a lighted mirror and a heated towel rail. For your convenience, this accommodation also provides a washing machine.
