This unique abode offers guests luxurious living in an eclectic mix of Caribbean and Italian style. The main house provides fantastic spaces in which all guests can entertain. As you enter, you’ll be wowed by its vast vaulted ceilings and beautiful Murano glass chandelier under which a huge living-dining area is situated. Take advantage of a beautiful wooden dining table seating twenty guests in this jaw-dropping room. For those cooking up the feast, you’ll be glad to know as well as the fabulous modern kitchen, you’ll have a separate wood smoked pizza oven and professional barbeque at your disposal at the villa.
The first of the sumptuous bedrooms here at Villa Susanna is situated in the main house, however you will find the remaining living quarters in the three beautiful cottages dotted around this stunning abode, reached though pretty winding paths under shady palms. Each of these private havens boasts high vaulted ceilings, sleek dark wooden floors and romantic four poster beds, all with views out over the stunning landscape and glistening sea beyond. With two suites in each, as well as relaxing sitting areas with television, fridge and a bar, you will have everything you need to enjoy your intimate sanctuary away from the main house. And with doors out onto a private patio enabling you to enjoy the cool breeze and quiet birdsong, you may never want to leave.
The grounds here at Villa Susanna are truly spectacular. Enjoying an abundance of tropical fauna and flora, you will be pleasantly overwhelmed with glorious colours and the scent of ripening fruit welcoming you each morning. These well-maintained gardens encompass a variety of entertaining spaces. From the main house, you will find a shaded patio from which to enjoy an afternoon nap gently rocking in the hammock. Follow the wooden bridge across the wonderful 20-meter pool and you’ll arrive at a delightful gazebo, perfectly situated to enjoy the fabulous sunsets as you dine al fresco late into the balmy evenings. In fact, the entire garden is full of hidden corners from which to grab a quiet moment to reflect on the abundant beauty that surrounds you on this tropical Island.
With such a breath-taking environment, it will be hard to leave Villa Susanna, but if you do, head to the most picturesque bay on the Island, indeed perhaps the entire Caribbean, beautiful Marigot Bay. And you’ll understand why it has been chosen as the backdrop for many a Hollywood movie.
