This warm, friendly village Manor House in the Midi-Pyrénées is an ideal base from which to explore the Dordogne, Cele and Lot river valleys. Designed with the kids in mind, within the old stone walls you’ll find entertainment aplenty - from the billiards room to books, toys and games. Outside the large lawned garden offers space for the little ones to roam, and the child-safe pool offers a cool respite for the whole family. With both gas and charcoal grills, family dinner time can easily move outside into the fresh country air.
Adults will take pleasure in the wine cellar and gorgeous custom kitchen, with high-end appliances and rich butcher block counter-tops. This sprawling family villa offers many venues where you can enjoy that perfect glass of Cahors wine - two rustic dining rooms, a deck and patio, or one of three casual living rooms.
Sitting between the towns of Le Bourg and Assier (2km), this family villa is nestled on the edge of the Causses National Park. Drive to Cahors (60km), a dramatic town surrounded by the River Lot, to discover the eponymous style of wine produced there. An adventurous spirit will find plenty to do - exploring the caves of Lascaux and Le Pech Merle, horseback riding, or simply going to one of the many weekly farmers markets in the local towns and villages. /n Security deposit /n €500 paid in cash to the owner upon arrival and refunded upon departure, subject to full inspection. /n Arrival time /n After 5.00 p.m. /n Departure time /n Before 10.00 a.m. /n Energy costs included? /n Yes, included during summer.
