Description

Ca Na Victor is in a truly wonderful location, just a short stroll from one of the most beautiful villages on the island of Mallorca, Deia.  With four bedrooms and a lovely stone terrace, this holiday home is a brilliant base for family or friends wanting to experience the bohemian village and discover this unspoilt corner of the island.

The villa is typically Mallorquin in the way it has been furnished and styled with traditional touches and a simple but homely ambience. The cosy living area has a wood burning chimney for cooler evenings and whilst French doors lead to the outside terrace so you can dine under the stars in the summer night. The well equipped kitchen is very practical with great facilities and a little table for relaxed breakfast or lunches, allowing you to sample the local cuisine from the comfort of your own home.  The villa also has a downstairs double bedroom and shower room for guests to use.

There are three further bedrooms upstairs, simple in style but furnished with some wonderful examples of Mallorquin tradition contrasted with pretty fabrics, modern pieces of art and splashes of contemporary colour.  One of the single bedrooms has a beautiful large balcony with breathtaking views of the village and mountains beyond.

Downstairs the covered terrace is a relaxing spot for shady afternoons reading a book, enjoying a glass of wine or a lovely meal at home.  There are two sun-loungers for the sun worshippers and pretty gardens of rose bushes and plants are dotted around the stone house.

Deia, just a two minute stroll away, is an idyllic village on the west coast of Mallorca, perched high up with stunning views down to the crystal clear seas. With a stunning backdrop of the ‘Sierra de Tramuntana’, the beautiful village is typically Mediterranean with green shuttered stone houses and narrow streets of pretty boutiques, art galleries, upmarket restaurants, cafes and Mallorquin tapas bars. It is very popular with tourists in the summer, with good reason as visitors come to experience the arty and bohemian vibe, just like the late Robert Graves did when he lived in the village in the nineteeth century.

Cala Deia is a beautiful sheltered pebble cove, a thirty minute steep walk downhill from the village (or a five minutes drive) where you will find a superb rustic seafood restaurant overlooking the sea.

The pretty town of Soller is a dramatic 10km drive away, a beautiful town so popular with walkers or tourists looking to get off the beaten track.  Take the old wood panelled train through the orange groves from Soller to Palma for a day trip to the magnificent city. /n Security deposit /n 300 Euros (payable with final balance) /n Arrival time /n 15.00 to 20.00 unless otherwise arranged /n Departure time /n 10am /n Energy costs included? /n Yes /n Linen & towels included? /n Yes, for house use.
