In the heart of historic Paris Nestled between three of the most famous squares in Paris: Concorde, Vendôme and Madeleine, the Castille Paris benefits from an exceptional location in the heart of historic Paris at number 33 in the famous Rue Cambon. The present Rue Cambon was built in 1719, joining the Jardin des Tuileries to the great boulevards. At that time, typical large 18th century private residences surrounded large courtyards. In 1910 Coco Chanel established her first workshops, which are still there today, at number 31, thus gaining world-wide recognition for the street in the 20th century. This is a 4 star hotel considered an excellent first class property. Luxurious, comfortable, a wonderful location in Paris, all ingredients for a nice stay. Rooms & Suites The recent interior alterations made in 2005 and the collection of 18th and 19th century works of art give intimacy and elegance to this 18th century private residence which has consequently retained its original soul and charm. The 86 rooms and 21 duplex & suites, mostly overlooking the patio, offer either a traditional Venetian inspired atmosphere or an elegant contemporary atmosphere. The rooms are medium or large in size and in excellent condition. Rooms are decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Suites are exceptionally well conceived, with a spacious lounge and bathroom on the ground floor, and a bedroom and a second bathroom on the mezzanine. Exterior The hotel is a charming Parisian house with 6 floors. The facade is in total accordance with the elegance of the district. San Marco Lounge A prolongation or natural ante-chamber to the Il Cortile restaurant, on any day the San Marco Lounge will welcome you around the piazetta. There too the chef, Vittorio Beltramelli, offers a casual, sunshine filled menu. Whether for a subtly blended cocktail or a genuine cappuccino, the San Marco Lounge invites you to unwind in a welcoming, refined setting. Fitness Centre and Sauna The Fitness Centre, bathed in light, overlooks one of the hotel's two magnificent patios. Open 24/24 and reserved exclusively for our hotel guests, it offers 5 highly complementary machines in addition to the sauna that can accommodate up to five people.?
